The home had introduced safety measures including sensor mats by beds at night, though staff had not sought residents' permission beforehand; the provider committed to obtaining consent following the inspection. Staffing levels were generally adequate, with one resident noting staff were attentive despite occasionally being busy: "I only have to wait 5 minutes. If staff have time they will sit and chat." People received their medicines as prescribed. However, some concerns were identified around infection control practices and the submission of required regulatory notifications to CQC.
