Larkswood

Larkswood is a residential care home providing personal care and support to older people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, an improvement on the previous inspection which had raised concerns about safety and leadership. Inspectors found staffing levels had increased, infection control practices had improved, and the home was clean and well maintained.

People told inspectors they felt safe, happy and well cared for, with friendly staff and good food. Some relatives felt activities could be improved and wanted more support with healthcare appointments, though the manager had plans to address this. People and relatives said they knew the manager and felt confident raising concerns.
