Avon House

Avon House provides accommodation and care to 17 people, the majority of whom are living with dementia. The service has capacity for up to 26 residents. Medicines are managed safely, though the availability of some medicines had been delayed for certain residents. The registered manager is aware of these issues and is taking steps to resolve them.

People are safe at Avon House and protected from harm by trained staff. The service has identified and assessed people's risks with clear guidance for staff on how to mitigate them. Staff support residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches possible and acting in their best interests.
