The following is CQC's published account of its assessment, published 21 October 2025. References to “we” mean CQC. It describes findings at that time.

Date of Assessment site visit 19 August 2025. Following the site visit we spoke with staff and received additional information from the registered manager on 22 August 2025. The service is a residential care service providing support to older people living with dementia. At the time of this assessment there were 19 people at the service. We undertook this assessment in response to information of concern which we had received. This assessment covered the safe, effective and well led key questions and we found no evidence to support the concerns raised.

Some environmental risks had not been identified but the registered manager took immediate action to ensure these risks were mitigated. Other risks to people were well managed and the provider had effective systems in place. People were receiving a personalised service from staff who knew them well and were familiar with their needs and preferences. People and their relatives were involved in developing comprehensive and holistic care plans that reflected their current needs and preferences. There was a consistent approach to monitoring people’s care and support, and this supported positive outcomes for people. There was a learning culture that supported continuous improvement. Staff were well supported and had received the training they needed to be effective in their roles.
