Avon Manor

Avon Manor is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 28 residents. At the time of inspection, the home was at full capacity.

The home demonstrated several measures to support residents and visitors. It has constructed a COVID-19-secure visiting pod with floor-to-ceiling screens and separate entrances for visitors and residents, allowing meetings without entry to the main building. The pod is fully equipped with infection prevention and control materials and personal protective equipment for visitors. The home has also installed a loop system, an assistive listening device for people with sensory impairments.
