Langdale Nursing Home

The home provides nursing and personal care for up to 39 older people, some with physical disabilities. At inspection, 36 residents lived there. The building has two floors with stair lift and passenger lift access throughout.

Medication management was handled safely, with staff administering medicines to one person at a time to minimise risks. All staff had received formal training to ensure they were confident and competent in this task. People were supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches and acting in residents' best interests.
