Lakeview Care Home

Lakeview is a large nursing home divided into six separate units, providing care for up to 151 people across various accommodation based on individual care needs. At inspection, 121 residents were using the service. The home maintains safe environments with sufficient staffing levels to protect people from harm and assess their individual risks. Trained staff administer medicines, and infection control measures are in place throughout the facility. People receive support with balanced nutrition and hydration, with staff facilitating access to external healthcare services and coordinating with other agencies as needed.

Staff seek consent for care and hold best interest meetings when appropriate. Care needs are continually reassessed and staff training is arranged to ensure staff can effectively meet people's requirements. When incidents occur, the home learns from these experiences to improve practice.
