Kent House Residential Home

Kent House is a residential care home providing personal care to 17 older people or people living with dementia, with capacity for up to 25 residents. The three-storey accommodation includes a lift to assist access to upper floors. Residents reported feeling happy and safe, with one relative commenting, "I can't fault the care." Inspectors found that improvements had been made and people were no longer at risk of harm. Following the registered manager's departure in September 2022, an experienced interim manager was brought in to lead the service. The manager worked with the staff team to implement improvements, placing residents at the centre of care provision. Staff felt supported and appreciated, working together to ensure people received a good standard of care.
