Ingleby Care Home

Ingleby Care Home provides nursing and personal care for older adults, some living with dementia, and is registered for up to 56 people, though only 24 lived there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home requires improvement overall, with a continuing breach around governance, as record-keeping and staff support and appraisal had not been sufficiently addressed since the previous inspection.

Inspectors found staff to be caring and knowledgeable about residents, who said they felt safe and well looked after. However, care and risk plans sometimes lacked detail, there had been no registered manager since December 2023, and many residents did not know who was managing the home.
