Hunter's Lodge

Hunters Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 36 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 22 people were using the service, which is arranged over two floors with communal lounges and dining areas. The home demonstrated strong infection control practices, with risk assessments completed to balance keeping people safe from infections while protecting them from social isolation. Staff followed government guidance on infection control, and domestic staff maintained cleaning schedules using appropriate products. All people and staff had received COVID-19 vaccinations, with most having or awaiting booster doses. The home used an app to verify that all staff and visiting professionals had negative COVID-19 test results and current passes before entering.
