Highfield House

Highfield House is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 45 people, including those with complex neurological and respiratory conditions. The CQC rated the service Good overall, following an assessment prompted by concerns about staffing and incident management.

Inspectors found people received safe, effective care from well-trained, experienced staff. A recruitment drive had reduced reliance on agency workers, and improved induction and clinical training supported safe practice. Governance systems worked well, with lessons learned from incidents.

Residents spoke positively about the kindness of staff and the home's leadership.
