Higher Park Lodge

Higher Park Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 34 people living with dementia in a large detached property within Devonport Park, Plymouth. At inspection, 30 people were using the service. Residents reported feeling happy and safe, with one person stating "Very happy and safe" and another praising the carers as "very good." A relative confirmed their family member feels "very safe living here."

Staff demonstrated caring attitudes throughout the service, spending time chatting and engaging with residents as they moved around. People appeared relaxed, happy and comfortable in their interactions with staff. The environment was safe and regularly maintained, with appropriate equipment available to support staff in their care delivery.
