Arguam House is a small residential care home in Plymouth, offering a genuinely homely setting where residents can feel comfortable and looked after. With space for just a handful of people, it has the kind of close-knit atmosphere that can make such a big difference when families are looking for somewhere that truly feels personal. Arguam House provides personal care for up to 8 residents. At inspection, the home was at full capacity. Residents felt safe and spoke positively about the management and staff team.

Staff demonstrated awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and knew how to report concerns, effectively protecting people from harm or abuse.

Most medicines were administered safely and as prescribed, though inspectors made a recommendation regarding the management of medicines taken on an as-needed basis. The home maintained sufficient numbers of skilled and knowledgeable staff to meet residents' needs, with safe recruitment practices in place.
