About Highcroft House

Highcroft House is a residential care home in Birmingham, providing personal and nursing care for people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities or long-term conditions. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Highcroft House provides personal and nursing care for people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities or long-term conditions. At the time of inspection, seven people were living in the home, which has capacity for up to nine residents.

The home had not been developed in line with best practice guidance emphasizing choice, promotion of independence, and inclusion for people with learning disabilities. Staff support residents across daily living activities and health management, though the service continues to work toward implementing modern person-centred approaches that enable residents to live as ordinary a life as possible within their community.
