Harbour Care Centre

The home currently operates two floors with 27 residents, though it has capacity for 108 beds. It recently registered to provide nursing care but has not yet admitted people with nursing needs while establishing the appropriate staff team. Residents experience good care delivered by kind and caring staff who treat them with dignity and respect while maintaining their privacy. There are sufficient staff in place to keep people safe, and the registered manager is carefully planning any increases to occupancy in a safe, managed way.

Medicines are stored and administered safely, and residents receive support with these when needed. The home maintains high standards of cleanliness with dedicated staff supporting infection control practices. Staff receive training and supervision to work effectively and develop necessary skills. Residents receive good nutritional support, with their needs monitored and assessed regularly, and GP support sought when required.
