Grimston Court provides accommodation and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, following an assessment prompted by concerns about incidents at the service. Inspectors found breaches relating to safe care, medicines management and governance, including poor risk assessments, inconsistent learning from incidents and environmental risks that had not been addressed.

Residents and relatives spoke positively about kind, patient staff and a welcoming atmosphere, though feedback on food choice for those eating in their rooms was mixed. Management had recently changed and the CQC found the service responded quickly to concerns raised, but further improvement was still needed to meet expected standards.
