Situated close to York city centre, the service operates from two adjoining terraced properties that have been combined into one larger building spanning three floors, with a separate annex containing three additional bedsits. At the time of inspection, 21 people were using the service.

The home is managed by two registered managers who share joint accountability for the service. The home was rated Outstanding for responsiveness to people's needs, with an overall Good rating maintained from the previous inspection.
