The Lodge

The Lodge provides residential care to people aged 65 and over and those living with dementia, with 16 people currently using the service. The management team and staff have created a kind and caring culture, with staff demonstrating passion for supporting residents. Leadership is strong, with governance systems in place to identify and address shortfalls promptly. Fire safety issues have been resolved, and staff are knowledgeable in managing risks to people's safety and wellbeing. People are kept safe from abuse with appropriate reporting procedures, and medicines are administered safely, though some records and protocols required improvement during the inspection. Accidents and incidents are monitored and reviewed to support ongoing learning and development.
