Riverside Care Complex

Riverside Care Complex is a residential care home providing support to older people and people living with dementia. The CQC found the service was performing well overall, rated Good. Risks were well managed, staff were recruited safely and trained effectively, and medicines were handled properly.

The provider was still improving records relating to mental capacity assessments and best interest decisions.

Inspectors found staff to be kind, attentive and knowledgeable about people's individual needs and preferences. Care was person centred, with residents' communication and end of life wishes respected. The home was found to be well run, with good oversight, clear leadership and effective systems for monitoring quality and responding to concerns.
