Gosberton House Care Home

Gosberton House Care Home provides residential and nursing care for adults of all ages living with dementia or a physical disability. Following an earlier warning about needed improvements, the CQC found the service had made progress and is now rated Good overall. Risks were understood and generally well managed, medicines were handled safely, and staff worked well with healthcare professionals.

People and relatives were largely happy, praising food quality, cleanliness and involvement in care planning. Staff treated people with kindness and respected their choices. However, inspectors found some risks were only fully addressed during the assessment itself, training records were incomplete, and leadership needed more time to embed recent improvements.
