Gorton Parks Care Home

Gorton Parks is a nursing home accommodating up to 120 people across four separate bungalows: Sunnybrow, Abbey Hey, Melland and Debdale. At inspection, 112 people were living at the service. Each bungalow specialises in either nursing or residential care, with some residents living with dementia. The bungalows feature lounges, dining areas, conservatories, and kitchenettes. All bedrooms are single rooms without en-suite facilities, with accessible toilets and bathrooms located near bedrooms and living spaces.

The management team were committed to making improvements across the service. Current priorities focused on staff recruitment and retention through increased pay incentives, and on strengthening medication management processes.
