Glenroyd House is a care home accommodating up to eight people with learning disabilities in one adapted building. At inspection, seven people were using the service. The home applies principles ensuring residents can live full lives with control, choice and independence, supported by staff in the least restrictive ways possible.

Policies and systems support these practices.

Under new management, residents reported various improvements and feel safe using the service. People find the registered manager approachable and friendly, and feel listened to. Safe recruitment of new staff has led to improvements in how residents spend their time.
