Ford House

Ford House is a care home with nursing that accommodates up to 46 older people, some of whom live with dementia. During the inspection, 24 people were living at the service.

Staff implemented effective infection control measures by scheduling visits, limiting visitor access to specific areas, and escorting visitors throughout the home. They ensured people were admitted safely into the service and provided adequate personal protective equipment including masks, gloves and aprons. Staff also helped residents understand the importance of these protective measures.
