Inspectors found significant concerns about governance systems and their effectiveness in maintaining quality standards. Audits had not identified issues with care planning, infection prevention and control, and medicines management. Medicines were not always stored safely or recorded accurately, and risk management for high-risk medicines required further development. The provider also lacked effective safeguarding systems to adequately protect people from abuse. While no evidence of harm to residents was found, the home required substantial improvements across these areas to ensure people received safe, quality care.
