It has dropped from good to requires improvement overall. The CQC found a breach relating to safeguarding, with incidents on one dementia care floor not properly identified or investigated, and medicines not always managed safely there.
Elsewhere, inspectors found people well supported, with kind staff, good health outcomes and strong rehabilitation results. People and relatives said they felt safe and well cared for. Management responded quickly to concerns, but the CQC asked the provider for an action plan to address the shortfalls found.
