Ferndale Nursing Home

Ferndale Nursing Home provides nursing care, accommodation and personal care for up to 28 people with varying care needs, including those experiencing the frailty of old age. At inspection, 26 people were living at the home in a single building.

Staff consistently followed infection prevention and control processes and policies during new admissions. All staff had received training in infection prevention and control and proper use of personal protective equipment, with inspectors observing correct PPE use throughout the home. The provider gave residents information about COVID-19, social distancing and other infection control measures to help them understand how to stay safe.
