Fairburn Mews

Fairburn Mews, in Wakefield, is a care home providing support for up to 20 people with physical and mental health conditions. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that previous breaches relating to safe care and governance had been resolved. Staff were experienced, well trained and knew people well, fostering trusting, person-centred relationships.

Inspectors found risks were assessed and reviewed regularly, with only minor improvements needed around medicines management. The service worked closely with health and social care professionals and was described as homely and well maintained. People and relatives felt safe, listened to and reported a friendly, approachable management team.
