About Manor Park Care Home

Manor Park Care Home is a nursing home in Wakefield, providing care for adults with nursing needs, including people living with dementia. The findings below set out what CQC inspectors found on their most recent visit.

Manor Park Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 75 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of the assessment 52 people lived there. The CQC rates the service as Requires Improvement overall, having previously placed it in Special Measures, from which it has now been removed following significant improvements.

Inspectors found a stable, supportive management team driving positive change, with better outcomes for people, including those living with dementia, and kind, attentive staff. However, the home remains in breach of regulations around staffing, as people and relatives continued to raise concerns about staff availability and how effectively staff were deployed to meet needs safely and consistently.
