Eastwood House Care Home

Eastwood House Care Home provides care and support for older people, including some living with dementia. A targeted assessment was carried out following concerns raised about staff culture, focusing on safety. The CQC found the home was meeting expectations, with a registered manager and deputy manager in post and enough staff available to respond to people promptly.

People and relatives spoken to were happy with the care provided. Inspectors found staff to be kind, caring and reassuring, including with people living with dementia who were unsettled. Relatives said they felt able to raise any concerns and found the manager approachable, supporting the overall Good rating.
