Dene Grange Care Home

Dene Grange Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 50 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 30 people were using the service across three operational units. People felt safe and medicines were managed well. Residents and relatives described staff as kind and attentive, saying they were looked after very well. The home had adequate staffing levels to meet people's needs, though the registered manager was arranging additional domestic staff support.

The home was well-led with a registered manager who had strengthened governance and quality assurance systems. Risks were identified and regularly reviewed, with lessons learnt when issues arose. The facility and surrounding gardens were kept safe with ongoing monitoring in place. The home was undergoing refurbishment, expected to be completed within the following months.
