Dean Wood Manor is a nursing home accommodating up to 50 people, including younger and older adults with dementia or physical disabilities. The Grade II listed building has been extensively refurbished to meet residents' needs. At the time of inspection, 49 people were living there.

People felt safe at the home, with relatives praising staff who knew their loved ones well. Adequate staffing levels ensured people's needs were met promptly and safety was maintained. Accidents, incidents and falls were documented and reviewed to identify patterns and prevent future occurrences.

The home was clean with effective cleaning procedures in place.
