Jah-Jireh Charity Homes Wigan provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 47 older people of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith, including some living with dementia, across residential, nursing and dementia units. The CQC rated the home as Requires Improvement overall, remaining in breach of regulations on safe care and good governance. Inspectors found unsecured wardrobes, uncovered radiators, doors wedged open, and poorly maintained flooring and walls, along with gaps in mental capacity assessments and care records.

Despite this, people and relatives spoke positively about the care they received, describing staff as trustworthy, kind and attentive. Some concerns were raised about agency staff reliability and call bell waiting times, particularly at weekends. The new manager was praised as approachable and was seen to be making visible improvements.
