Douglas Bank Nursing Home

Douglas Bank Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 40 people across two floors. The service supports people living with dementia, older people, younger adults, those with physical disabilities and sensory impairments. At inspection, 37 people were using the service. The ground floor is dedicated to nursing care while the first floor caters to people living with dementia. Both areas feature spacious communal rooms, and residents and relatives have access to a good-sized garden.

Inspectors identified that improvements were required in the safe management of medicines and in assessing risk.
