About Davies Court

Davies Court is a residential care home in Rotherham. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Davies Court in Rotherham is a care home offering long term, respite and intermediate care to older people, including those living with dementia, across four units for up to 60 people. The CQC found the home to be Good overall, with kind, caring staff, person-centred care plans and safe medicines management, though minor gaps were found in storage of thickeners and pain patch records.

Leadership was open and effective, though inspectors found governance systems needed further embedding. Some people and relatives raised concerns about staffing levels at weekends and limited activities, and while the management team gave assurances, communication with families was seen as an area for improvement.
