About Woodlands Care Home

This care home provides residential and nursing care for up to 44 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 39 people were being cared for. The home has implemented strong infection prevention measures, including a dedicated area for visitor appointments with a clear pre-booking system and deep cleaning between visits.

Personal protective equipment is readily available, and temperature checks and COVID-19 questionnaires are completed at a secure entrance. Lateral flow testing is conducted, and staff and residents have good access to testing and vaccination. The service operates a robust admission and discharge process for people.
