Ashton Court Residential Home

Ashton Court provides personal care to older people with a range of support needs, including dementia, accommodating up to 24 people. At the time of inspection, 14 residents were using the service.

Inspectors identified areas for improvement in infection control practices. While all staff confirmed they had received infection control training, observations showed staff were not consistently using personal protective equipment correctly. The registered manager confirmed that visitors were screened on arrival to manage COVID-19 risks, though inconsistencies in PPE use suggest infection control procedures need strengthening across the home.
