About Levitt Mill

Levitt Mill is a residential care home in Rotherham, providing accommodation and personal care across two houses for people with learning disabilities or autism. Details of the latest CQC findings are set out below.

Levitt Mill is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 11 people with learning disabilities or autism. It operates across two houses, The Mill and The Barn, and although larger than best practice guidelines suggest, this is offset by the split buildings and a strong focus on people's outcomes. The CQC rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found people felt safe and happy, with relatives speaking positively about care and involvement in decisions. People enjoyed varied activities, had freedom to see family and friends, and were supported to be as independent as possible. Staffing levels were sufficient, medicines were managed well, and people were treated with dignity by staff who knew them well.
