Croft Lodge is a large adapted residential care home in Teignmouth accommodating up to 24 people requiring nursing or personal care. The property features gardens and sea views from some rooms. At inspection, 21 people were living at the home.

Residents reported feeling safe, and staff demonstrated strong understanding of safeguarding procedures with confidence in reporting concerns. Safety risks were properly assessed and managed through detailed care plans reflecting individual needs.

The home maintained sufficient staffing levels with safe recruitment practices. Medicines were well managed, with the registered manager working closely with local pharmacies to mitigate staffing shortages and ensure consistent delivery of prescribed medicines.
