Eastleigh House

Eastleigh House accommodates a maximum of 10 people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, nine people were living at the home. Staff carried out extensive risk assessments to keep people safe, with detailed plans for managing specific risks such as choking and behaviour management. These measures were designed to be as least restrictive as possible while addressing both physical and mental health needs.

The service worked with other agencies to provide consistent, individualised care and support. A dedicated positive behaviour support service helped staff adopt proactive strategies, ensuring all residents had positive behaviour support plans in place. This approach enabled people to lead fulfilled lives while managing behaviour effectively.
