Summercourt

Summercourt is a residential care home in Teignmouth, Devon, accommodating up to 20 older people, including those living with dementia or physical disabilities. At the time of inspection, 19 people were residing at the home. The service demonstrated extremely effective management with clear lines of responsibility and accountability. The management showed a genuine passion for providing exceptional care, placing people at the centre of all decisions and planning.

The home operated with a truly positive, person-centred culture that was open, inclusive and empowering. Inspectors found that this commitment to quality permeated throughout the service, creating an environment where residents' needs and preferences shaped the care provided.
