Cooper House is a residential care home supporting adults of all ages living with dementia and with physical and sensory disabilities. The CQC rated the service Good overall, having previously found a breach in governance. Inspectors confirmed this breach had been resolved, with an effective, visible management team and a positive, inclusive culture, though some strengthening of environmental and care plan auditing was still needed.

People were kept safe, with enough skilled staff, safe medicines management and effective infection control. Staff knew people well and offered varied activities. Residents and relatives spoke warmly of the care, describing the home as well-led, safe and one they would recommend to others.
