Lutterworth View

Heathcotes Lutterworth View accommodates eight people in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, all eight places were occupied. Staff were recruited safely and received induction and training for their roles. They understood how to support people and knew how to protect them from the risk of abuse and how to report concerns.

However, risks to people had not been fully assessed to protect them from harm, and people's sensory needs had not always been assessed. Staff could not clearly describe how and when 'as required' medicines would be administered, and there was no mechanism to review the protocols for these medicines. People, staff and most relatives reported that the registered manager was making improvements in the service.
