Coalville Nursing Home

Coalville Nursing Home provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 40 older people, some living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. At the time of inspection there were 22 residents using the service.

The home was well-staffed, with a relative commenting, "Hats off to the staff who have dealt with the situation, working long and extra hours to keep the home open through this pandemic. " Staff demonstrated good knowledge of keeping people safe and had implemented improved medicines systems to ensure residents received their medications as needed. Some improvements were identified in people's care records and staff management processes.
