Clarendon House

Clarendon House provides care and rehabilitation support for up to eight people living with acquired neurological conditions. The three-storey building was home to seven residents at the time of inspection. The service does not provide nursing care.

The home is well-led with a registered manager who has introduced improved governance and auditing systems. Audits are up to date and help identify lessons from incidents and accidents to keep people safe. While a recruitment process exists, inspectors recommended strengthening how consistently it is followed. Residents reported feeling safe and content, with one person stating, "You can talk openly, and I feel positive about this place." The provider has been responsive to addressing identified shortfalls and takes immediate action when improvements are needed.
