Willow Lodge

Willow Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to eight people recovering from head injuries or neurological conditions affecting their mental health. The service specializes in rehabilitation for those with complex needs following brain injury or neurodegenerative conditions, operating from an adapted three-storey building with two self-contained flats for independent living. At inspection, all eight places were occupied.

People felt safe at the home, with one resident stating, "I am perfectly safe, it's perfectly clean and safe and polite, no problem at all." Relatives praised staff knowledge and compassion, noting staff had been "amazing with settling in" their loved ones and describing support workers as going "above and beyond" by encouraging visits to places residents wished to visit. Care plans and risk assessments were person-centred, and staff supported people in a kind and compassionate way whilst respecting their dignity and rights. People received maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible.
