Chestnuts Residential Care Home (Weymouth)

This residential home accommodates up to 13 older people in one adapted building, with 12 residents living there at the time of inspection. The service provides personal care and accommodation, while nursing care is arranged through the community nursing service. The home had implemented effective infection prevention measures, including screening visitors for Covid-19 symptoms and taking temperatures on arrival. A sealed door with a large glass panel was installed at the front to enable safer window visits. Residents were supported to understand these infection control measures in place at the service.
