Buxton House

Buxton House is registered to provide residential care for up to 64 people, including older people and those living with dementia. The CQC found the home was performing well, with effective governance, sound safeguarding procedures and thorough recruitment practices in place. Staff learned from incidents and shared this learning across the service, supported by a confident management team.

People and relatives told inspectors they felt safe, well cared for and happy living at Buxton House. Medicines were managed properly, and staff were described as kind, attentive and caring. People knew how to raise concerns and felt comfortable doing so, contributing to an overall rating of Good.
