About Cherry Tree Lodge

Cherry Tree Lodge is a residential care home in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, providing personal care to older adults. The findings below set out the Care Quality Commission's most recent observations of the service.

Cherry Tree Lodge is a residential care home that provides personal care to people aged 65 and over. At the time of inspection, 11 people were living there, though the service is registered for up to 20 residents. The home is an adapted house with bedrooms on both ground and first floors, with communal living areas and access to a back garden on the ground level.

A stair lift provides access to the first floor.

The provider had paused new admissions to ensure existing residents' needs were properly met and to avoid placing excessive pressure on staff. The home had procedures in place for welcoming visitors, with face masks and hand hygiene measures available.
