Gilburn

Gilburn is a residential care home in Leicestershire providing accommodation and personal care for up to 8 people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Five people were living there when the CQC assessed the service, which is now rated Good overall.

The assessment followed concerns from partner agencies about safety and staffing, but inspectors found significant improvement since the last inspection. Previous breaches around governance and staffing had been resolved, with enough skilled staff in place and a new registered manager embedding safer systems. People received kind, personalised support and were encouraged towards independence and meaningful activities.
