Charlton Court Nursing Home

Charlton Court Nursing Home provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 64 people, including those living with dementia, autistic people, people with a learning disability or physical disability, and people needing end of life care. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding a clean, spacious environment, personalised care plans and kind, respectful staff who worked well with health professionals.

Inspectors found some shortfalls: medicines were not always stored or disposed of safely, monitoring charts were inconsistently completed, and activities were limited. The first floor dining area was cramped. People and relatives told the CQC they felt safe and well supported, describing staff as attentive and kind.
