Cedar Tree Care Home Limited provides personal and nursing care for older people, including some living with dementia, sensory impairment or physical disabilities, with 37 people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC found the home continues to require improvement overall, remaining in breach of regulations for safe care and treatment, particularly around managing behaviours that could cause harm and ensuring incidents lead to learning.

Inspectors found progress had been made on staff recruitment, consent processes and governance, which are no longer in breach. Cleaning and medicines storage had improved, and people were supported by kind, attentive staff who understood their preferences. However, care planning around risk, mental capacity records and staff involvement in service development still need further work.
