Castleview Care Home

Castleview Care Home provides residential or nursing care for up to 45 older people, with 42 residents at inspection, some living with dementia. The service takes an exceptionally holistic approach to assessing and delivering care, with personalised care plans that record what matters most to each person. Residents are actively involved in planning their own care, and staff treat each person as an individual, valuing their social, emotional and spiritual needs. The home maintains strong links with the local community to promote inclusion and maintain residents' self-esteem.

Staff are described as caring and compassionate by residents and relatives. The service is exceptionally responsive to people's needs and extremely well managed, with residents' choices and wishes consistently recognised. People are actively encouraged to share their views and give feedback about their care, and staff work closely with relatives to support residents' wellbeing and independence.
